FAQs: Diabetes and Wound Care 21-Day Challenge

Today is a special blog post, not our normal format. That said, as you may know, we are co-hosting a 21-Day Diabetes and Wound Care Challenge with Best Publishing Company. Registration for the 21-Day Diabetes and Wound Care Challenge opened on Wednesday and it has been very well received! There is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm among our colleagues! The challenge opens on November 1st – this Saturday! You can sign up anytime during the month of November, BUT we recommend starting with us on November 1st so you can receive each day of content as it is released. That will help you keep up with the material and give you the best chance of successfully completing the material and accomplishing your goal of finishing the challenge in 21 days.

CHALLENGE FAQs:
Q: When is the first day that challenge material will be released?
A: Saturday, November 1st

Q: What is the format of the content?
A: The challenge content will be delivered to you as articles to read, book excerpts/chapters, and videos.

Q: Can I register my entire clinic staff? 
A: Yes. On the challenge order page you can order multiple challenge registrations at once. Then, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to inform us of the name (first and last), email address, mailing address, license type, and phone number of each individual registrant. We will set up each person in the system and personally email them their log in details and challenge instructions.

Q: What if I miss a day, can I still get the material?
A: Yes. As a challenge registrant you willl get access to all 21-days of content. If you miss a day, simply log in to your account, go to the challenge webpage and download the material that you missed. Also, if you want to look at any of the content from previous days, you can do that at any time. Your access to the challenge material will remain active indefinitely.

Q: Do I have to complete the challenge material at a certain time each day?
A: No. Challenge material will be posted each day by 12:01am EST. You can view the challenge material at your convenience once it is posted.

Q: Do I have to "check-in" somewhere each day when I complete the material?
A: No, this is a self-study program. However, we will provide you with a downloadable "21-Day Challenge Calendar" so you can mark off which days you completed and which you missed. Note: Those of you who are seeking nursing credits will need to complete a program evaluation at the end of the challenge.

Q: What license types are available for continuing education credits?
A: Nursing credits are available through the Florida Board of Nursing. This includes RN,LPN,CNS,ARNP,CNA. Wound Care Education Partners is a Florida based company and a licensed CE Provider through the Florida State Board of Nursing. Florida nursing credits are reciprocal and approved for nurses within all states. Receiving credit for Florida providers is simple, participate in the program and our staff will upload your credits directly to the Florida State database. For non-Florida credit, we provide the necessary paperwork for you to file with the respective nursing board.

Q: After November what is the price for the 21-Day Diabetes and Wound Care Challenge program?
A: The cost goest up to $175 as of December 1st. The Challenge is only discounted during the month of November, in support of National Diabetes Awareness Month. So in November you get 21 days of education for 21 dollars!
