What is the 45-hour course? It's the UHMS Approved 45-Hour Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine. This is the foundational course and basic training that every clinical member of your team should take.

This course will provide you with basic training or continuing education in hyperbaric medicine. This course meets the CMS requirements for physician supervision and billing; and is a precursor to getting the UHMS PATH or either the NBDHMT certification of added qualification or the ABWH certificate of added qualification.

We offer this course via livestream every month, or in-person around the world by request. We'll work with you to customize the number of enrollments that you need to get your clinic off the ground and meet credentialing requirements, and determine on either livestream or in-person to meet your needs.

This course provides educational instruction to students who are studying and preparing for a wound care certification exam.

This course is a hybrid of online/self-paced learning + a 1-day live classroom session to maximize student learning and minimize travel expenses. Nurses and physicians who take our wound care certification prep course should find themselves overprepared to sit for a wound certification exam.

The training includes: a 15-credit hour self-paced online pre-course; it comes with a study guide ebook and print book version (a $114 value); a 10.5-hour workshop (either livestream or in person) with a hands-on debridement module + a debridement packet specially shipped to students; and a certificate of course completion. Students also receive a repeatable certification practice exam to prepare for the actual certification exam through the certifying organization of your choice.

The National Alliance of Wound Care (NAWCO) has determined that the program content covers all of the domains that candidates who take the WCC Certification Examination will be tested on. Therefore, program graduates of the WCEP 25.5 hour Wound Care Certification Basic Training And Review course will be considered to have met the educational requirements and be permitted to test for the Wound Care Certified (WCC) certification. Hyperbaric Certified - Program Director (HC-PD©)

At least one administrator within your clinic should have this credential. This certification of added qualification provides new and seasoned program directors the knowledge, skills, and competence to lead their clinic to the next level of success by increasing revenues, expanding your referral base, and tightening operations.

Hyperbaric Certified - Safety (HC-S©)

At least one hyperbaric technician within your clinic should have this credential. The purpose of this certification pathway is to ensure that an individual who is assigned to the role of Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator / Safety Director within a hyperbaric facility meets the highest practice standards of knowledge as proven through coursework and examination.

Having an official HC-S© credential will validate your knowledge of hyperbaric safety and enhance your resume for current and future job opportunities in a hyperbaric clinic. The HC-S© certification program is not limited to those seeking to become Hyperbaric Safety Director/Coordinator, but is designed to teach and validate the necessary knowledge of hyperbaric safety for all team members in a hyperbaric facility.
